Fall Turning to Winter

Here in southwestern Kentucky we are getting a preview of Winter; even though the calendar says that it is still technically fall.
Thermometer shivered down to 24 degrees last night. Brrrr, nasty. I know farther up north it is worse; but I hate being cold.
